About Madison
After graduating from the Defense Language Institute in 2021, I began working as a Spanish Interpreter for the U.S Air Force in Arizona where I currently work full time. This has given me the opportunity to travel to several Latin American countries to include Ecuador and Paraguay. I have also had the unique opportunity to work with and learn from native Spanish speakers from all over South America to include, Colombia, Spain, and El Salvador to name a few. I can therefore ensure that by taking lessons with me you will have the most professional and effective experience possible with learning Spanish.

My lessons are specialized to meet individual needs in learning the Spanish language. Rather you wish to learn Spanish for an upcoming trip or to learn the language proficiently as a second language. As a graduate from the Defense Language Institute where I learned to understand and speak Spanish fluently in a short 36-week course, I understand what it takes not only to learn a second language, but to do so quickly and efficiently at a professional level. When we first meet, you can expect that we will thoroughly discuss your goals so that I have everything I need to tailor our lessons to your needs. We will also go over the process and different learning techniques/styles behind learning a language- something many curriculums lack. Additionally, we will talk about different levels of language proficiency used to assess progress. Learning a language can be tough, but by having these conversations I can ensure you a unique, personalized experience that guarantees the best possible results! You can expect lessons to include a variety of listening, reading and speaking practice using materials and resources derived from native speakers. Lessons will be highly immersive- giving you as much exposure to and practice with the Spanish language as possible. I specialize in preparing anyone planning to take a DLPT or Oral Proficiency Interview.
