About Collette
In JC, I really enjoyed teaching and studying together with my peers. Now that I've graduated, I hope to continue paying forward my knowledge by guiding students, and I feel a great sense of reward in being able to observe my students' progress over time. Having a narrower age gap with my students also allows me to connect with them better and explain concepts in a more relatable way, and I hope to make learning fun for them!

I would first assess the student's aptitude (e.g., learning pace, weak topics, attention span), then focus on the weaker topics that they've covered in school first. I would try to follow the sequence of the school syllabus/slightly ahead of the school syllabus as much as possible, to avoid the confusion of the tutee having to juggle different topics at once. I prefer to conduct targeted timed practices and on-the-spot reviews during lessons to address misconceptions promptly.
