About Mia
Hello, My name is Mia and I am a 20-year-old college student who is majoring in mathematics. I have been in education for a while even with the short time I’ve been on this earth. It is important to note that I have a gift for this sort of thing and I was at the top of my class in high school where I was placed in college math classes. I understand that some people are not as gifted and need help. I myself found things like English very challenging in school and I did seek help from others to help me. But in order to pursue what we want in life we sometimes need to get through things that we might not be all too good at. So I am here to help with anything you need, not just answers to problems but I want to help you figure out how to learn and succeed with yourself too.

As a past and present student it is important to realize that all students have their own way and time of learning. Communication is key to helping them succeed in areas they are struggling. -When I am teaching I use both visual learning and memory practices to help ensure long-term progress. - Typically I would take what a student is learning and make it so it fits them personally. I use a teaching by applying approach by giving examples and slowly increasing the difficulty when I see fit. -I have been an in-person tutor for 5 years in mathematics, mainly with elementary and middle schoolers but I also can help with upper levels as well. - I am still young and learning myself but I am very knowledgeable and experienced in this subject. Most importantly I am passionate and find helping/teaching others something I enjoy.
