About Shannon

I have been teaching math in the elementary school setting for 20 years. I also have two teenage sons. At school and at home, I encourage my students and children to use math as a helpful problem solving tool. Math is a part of everything we do!

About the lesson

I love helping kids get excited about strategies for problem solving that make them feel confident. Math can be difficult, but it always makes sense. Together we can find ways to make math fun and build confidence to face mathematical challenges!
