About MeAnna
With a bachelor’s degree in journalism, I’m trained to explain complex ideas in simple, engaging, and approachable ways. Journalism taught me how to communicate clearly, write effectively, and break down information so anyone can understand it. My master’s degree in linguistics gives me a deep understanding of language structure, grammar, communication styles, and learning processes. This allows me to not only teach content—but to teach it in a way that fits how you learn best. I have served as an English teacher for a local church in my area where I taught English to non-native speakers. I also served as a Graduate Assistant teacher for a class of refugees from Afghanistan. Both experiences were truly rewarding and all my students graduated my course and were able to move on to the next level.
