About Jacob
I've been harnessing my skills to be a professional for the last four years working in varous settings. A common theme I've noticed is the praise I receive from professors and managers on my communication skills and how well I conduct myself.
Shortly after graduating college I received tutor of the month teaching college courses during the summer. Currently I am working towards my masters degree and hoping to carry my passion of education throughout tutoring and my degree.

I'm a current graduate student at Iowa State University with a great understanding of what it means and how it feels to be a college student. Lessons are aimed at college students taking the 'weed out' college classes in science fields. I received an A in both organic chemistry and biochemistry, two commonly failed classes in college.
Teaching wise, I carry people through topics in a logical order and go in depth where more learning may be necessary. Professors assign homework for a reason and I walk through the important concepts on various homework that will continue to show up throughout the class.
I'm still in my own education, meaning I know how to find resources and navigate classes in order to be successful.
