Hey, my Chinese name is Leili and I'm a teacher, who will help to go from 你好 to confidently chatting about food, movies, and daily life in Chinese! Last year I had more than 100 students and all of them can point out that their speaking skills in Chinese improved. Some students went from 0 to feeling comfortable ordering food, shopping, making new local friends in Chinese in China. While other students, who knew basics in the beginning of the year, can now talk about all the hot topics: work culture, life in a big city vs a village, overconsumption etc. On average, my students get such results after 5 months of classes. How? First of all, I teach topics and words that Chinese actually use in daily life. No textbook will prepare you for scanning a QR code in a Chinese restaurant to order your meal or browse a digital menu—but that’s the reality today, and I’ll make sure you’re ready for it. Second of all, I have my own interactive platform and an app, where you can complete exercises, see clearly our lesson plan and track your progress, which a lot of my students find motivating and helpful for their discipline. The study plan I create is personalized to each student’s needs, goals, and abilities, and it’s designed after the first free trial class to ensure it’s the perfect fit.
