About Giorgia pia
I am a London Metropolitan University graduate, my Bachelor is Criminology and International Security. I studied English while in school in Italy, so I know what it means to be a student! I love languages and know Latin and Spanish. I will probably learn more languages, it is one of the most exciting experiences for me! I am 27 and love books and TV series, but I also love to discuss current events and International Politics. I am sure I can find a common interest with anyone, to discuss in Italian, obviously! I have been a nanny for several years and I love children, they are always interesting to interact with! I hope to have caught your attention and to have interested you in starting your Italian learning journey!

My approach is very 'interest' based. I will suggest books, movies, TV series, podcasts and blogs according to your specific area of interest. Nothing works better than doing something you love. Grammar and vocabulary are good building blocks, but too much information in one setting is more confusing than helpful. The learning will be supported by interactive media as listed above to make the grammar and vocabulary a part of the experience, not the focus. Writing training is mostly trial and error, I am available to grade and discuss writing samples according to European levels. I have studied in Italy before moving to London for my bachelor’s, I have a Diploma from Italian High school with the highest grade. I have supported students with their Italian learning process in Italy, my students were between the ages of 12 and 18, but I am excited to teach adults as well.
