About Chotan Krishna
I’m Chotan Krishna Dhar, a multidisciplinary artist and art educator based in Auckland. I hold a BFA, MFA, and a Master of Design from Media Design School. With over 8 years of experience in fine arts, illustration, design, and teaching, I specialize in watercolor, acrylic, drawing, mixed media, and creative expression. My lessons are friendly, practical, and tailored to help students build confidence and develop their unique artistic style.

I offer beginner to intermediate watercolour lessons designed to build confidence, creativity, and strong technical skills. Students will learn essential techniques including colour mixing, washes, layering, glazing, composition, light and shadow, and brush control. Lessons can cover landscapes, portraits, botanical illustration, urban sketching, expressive painting, and personal creative projects.
