My goal as a tutor is for you to feel confident in the subject matter. I vow to do my absolute best when working with you so that you can reach the educational goals you'd like to achieve. As someone who studied AP English in high school and four years in college, I feel confident that I can get you where you want to be in the study.

My teaching method is creative and collaborative. I strive to make lessons fun and engaging. The great things about literature and writing is that often times it's interpretive; meaning we can learn things from each other during a lesson because each person has a different point of view.
A typical lesson might consist of a quick game or activity to start out followed by a reading/task and discussion on the piece. Then we will debrief on the lesson and answer any questions!
What sets me apart as a tutor is both my passion for the material and my desire for your success. I'm outgoing, warm, and inviting, and I want you to ultimately feel comfortable with me during a lesson. Think of me as a friend reading and writing with you!
Lessons can be geared towards K-12 age groups, as well as children and adults with special needs.
