About Kishon
I am a math whiz that has been in education for 6 years. I got into education to help close the educational gap that many youth across the world face. I received my Master's degree in Secondary Education during June of 2021 from New York University. While receiving my Master's degree I have been able to sharpen my skills in differentiation and accommodating scholars to better help put them onto a path of success. The differentiation strategies I will implement will allow me to meet scholars on their level and still challenge them to achieve the concepts we will practice.

As a tutor, I am very personable and enjoy making learning fun, interesting, and competitive. I will be sure to individualize all lessons and make them culturally responsive for learners to best connect to the concept of the lesson. My lessons will typically begin with a Do Now, Objective, Lesson Video, Collaborative practice where we will have a discussion about the concept, Individual practice, and lastly an exit ticket. My lessons will focus on foundational math skills that scholars will use during their elementary and middle school years.
