About Remy
I have studied ballet since the age of 2. Attending many summer intensive programs including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ballet Austin, and Los Angeles Ballet. I then went on to study contemporary dance at NYU, with a major in dance and a minor in Business of Entertainment Media and Technology. I’ve taught all ages in my hometown of San Diego, California, and in New Jersey at Broadway Bound Dance Center. With a performance background in professional theater and working with many accomplished choreographers, I have much knowledge and insight to share with my students! In addition, with a recent certification as a yoga instructor, I combine Eastern philosophy on the body and movement with the European training I studied for many years in order to create a nurturing environment and provide students with much knowledge and resources.

I focus on full body movement, thoughtful transitions, musicality, and authentic movement. As a dancer and artist myself, I pride myself on real-life experience and practical solutions for dancers of all ages.
