About Ashna
I am a recent graduate from The Culinary Institute of America where I studied culinary science with a focus on baking and pastry arts. I have trained in multiple Michelin kitchens and would like to share that with future students in a fun and approachable manner.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based first on thoroughly explaining the concept the tutee wants to learn and then creating a teaching plan around the concept. A typical class would start with 5-10 minutes explanation of the concept, followed by a discussion clarifying any doubts. We could either do a cook-along or I could guide the student through preparing the dish. We would then go over different plating styles for the dish and close with a question and answer time.
