About Digba
I am a professional pianist and qualified music teacher with vast experience as a sideman and band leader. My experience cuts across various genres including Jazz, Classical, African Pianism and more. In 2021, I released my debut album Ade' Digba which explores interactions between jazz music and Nigerian folk sounds. I have a Doctoral degree in Jazz and Contemporary media from the Eastman School of Music and have completed other certificate exams such as ABRSM grade 8 piano exams. I am originally from Lagos, Nigeria but currently based in the NY area where I regularly perform with my band and as a sideman.

My experience as a teacher spans a period of about 10 years. From teaching beginning piano students to teaching at a college level, my vast experience allows me to help my students in achieving their musical goals. Most importantly, I try to find a balance between what I think is important for the student and what the student is passionate about.
