About Sophie
I have been educated in english my entire life and am an American citizen. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of St Andrews in Biology and am currently pursuing my doctor of medicine at Semmelweis University. Communication in english is the underlying key to success in any professional field, and I am passionate about encouraging confidence in english literacy.

My teaching approach is flexible, and completely catered to the needs of the student. Have some homework you are struggling with? Let's go through it together and cover all the fundamentals.
A typical lesson plan with me begins with going over what we covered in the previous tutoring session involving active recall and spaced repetition techniques. Then, we can move on to discussing new material the students is learning in class or any assignments which need proofreading.
Essentially, the lesson is driven by what the student needs the most work on that week! In the case that the student simply wants to improve their english, I have a variety of books and exercises that are guaranteed to increase your confidence in the english language!
