About Sam
Hello my name is Sam, I'm 23. I studied at Beaudesert Park School where my passion for English and Classics were ignited by my teachers. Then at 13 I went to Marlborough College where I continued to learn and then went on to study at University of Bristol, receiving a 2:1 in my Bachelor's Degree.
I have an in-depth knowledge of both English and Classics, which provides me with a useful intersection between both subjects. Poetry in both English and Latin is an especially strong suit for me.
I'm a very patient individual and understand how difficult it can be to grasp certain topics, therefore I have a range of different techniques of looking at topics and will always ensure my teaching style is in line with what my students need.
GCSE's: 9A*; 2A
A-Level: 3 A's (Chemistry, English and Latin)

- Helping a student become an independent learner. Whilst I will take an active approach in my tutoring I ensure that the student begins to develop a capacity for their own awareness in terms of learning.
- Emphasis on developing self-confidence within the student, helping them to be confident in their convictions in the classroom as well as in the tutoring lessons.

- From my past experiences of tutoring and having had tutors in the past, I have a strong understanding of what works and what does not.
