About Maryam
I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic science teacher trainee with a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy science.
I chose to pursue teaching because I genuinely enjoy working with young people and seeing the moment when a difficult concept finally “clicks”. I believe that every student can make progress with the right support, encouragement and teaching approach. Rather than simply asking students to memorise information, I aim to help them understand the ideas behind what they are learning and build the confidence to tackle questions independently.

I studied Biology and Chemistry at A-level and achieved top grades, as well as 10 GCSEs at A*-A grade. I also have a vast knowledge of child psychology and development including knowledge of how children learn. I will tailor each session for every individual student, allowing them to thrive and achieve their full potential. I will make all lessons fun whilst also ensuring my students achieve the highest grades in their summer exams.
