About David
I am a Design Engineer most of the time, but I have a real passion for teaching students. I enjoy seeing the moment a tough concept finally clicks for a student or the joy when they demolish a test they struggle in. I have been a math tutor for over 5 years most of this time at the collegiate level, but I have experience working with middle school to high school aged students.

Math and Science is a very linear learning path. If there is a weakness or confusion along the path it can make it difficult to learn the next steps in the path. Sometimes, students need specific attention at a certain point in the path, but the teacher cannot wait for them. When working with me we can take the time to find the confusing step(s) for the student and make sure their foundation remains strong.
