About Alexander
My name is Alexander Tsang . I find the subjects of Mathematics and Statistics fascinating which is why I chose to do two degrees focusing on them. I have a 2:1 BSc in MORSE, and a merit in MSc Statistics, both from the University of Warwick. At University I focused on Bayesian Statistics and Stochastic Processes, with my Master's dissertation about Statistical Modelling in evolution. I am enthusiastic to help people gain understanding over areas of mathematics that they find difficult or confusing and am determined to see any task through to its conclusion. In my free time I enjoy chess, reading, Thai Boxing and running. I am also a member of Mensa and am subscribed to the Mensa Mathematics SIG (Special Interest Group).

I tutor people in Mathematics up to and including GCSE lesson. 1 hour lessons are standard, request particular subjects in advance that you want covered. If necessary, I will give an initial test to determine the current level of the student and their strengths and weaknesses. My teaching focusing on logically and patiently explaining the maths technique that the student doesn't understand with an example and then honing the student's ability through practice of relevant questions until at a satisfactory level.
