About Henry
I am a recent graduate of Spanish from the University of Warwick with a passion for teaching and delving deeper into the Spanish culture. As a non-native speaker, I have been learning Spanish for 9 years, having spent 1 year teaching English as a second language in Spain, providing a full immersion into the Spanish culture and gaining further experience in teaching a second language.
I have been tutoring since starting at the University of Warwick in 2019, having had a variety of A level and GCSE Spanish students. I am very keen to continue teaching Spanish and gain further experience to help me to improve my delivery and provide a better experience for my students.

I like to have a student-led approach, as my sessions are there to provide extra support in areas that students struggle with, so early sessions entail identifying areas of weakness with the language, and then we can address these issues as sessions go on. It's important for students to be exposed to the language as much as possible so I give all my instructions in Spanish, aiming to have as much conversation in Spanish as possible.
All sessions are an hour long, but I am flexible to adjust to the students needs. Sessions will be in the evening.
I have been a tutor for 5 years, teaching a variety of GCSE and A level Spanish students.
