About Cristina
I am a practicing physical therapist who is passionate about teaching and helping others better understand the human body. My interest in teaching began while I was in physical therapy school, where I enjoyed tutoring students in the class below me and helping them feel more confident with challenging material. I love making complex concepts easier to understand and finding ways to connect what students are learning to real-world applications in physical therapy. I’m excited to share my knowledge and help students succeed in their studies.

My approach to tutoring is interactive and student focused. I begin each lesson by addressing the student’s specific questions, then work through lecture material together while asking questions to ensure understanding. When materials are provided in advance, I may also create short quizzes or practice questions to reinforce key concepts. What sets me apart is that I graduated only two years ago, so I still remember what it was like to learn this material for the first time. I understand that concepts that may seem like “common sense” to experienced professionals are not always intuitive to students. I specialize in anatomy and kinesiology and tutor students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, with a particular focus on physical therapy.
