About Nived
I am a recent graduate from college, with high school being only 5 years in my past. I've always been a good math and physics student, so now that I'm older, I would like to give back by passing on my knowledge and strengths in these subjects. I've tutored in the past in my high school, helping out other students as a tutor in the tutoring center at our school, and I loved working there, and have recently started teaching math summer classes over zoom. I would now like to branch out and tutor one-on-one sessions in-person and online as I believe teaching one-on-one is often times the best way to teach, and best way to learn as a student, since I can specialize each lesson to fit each different student, and go at whatever pace is comfortable for the student.

Our lessons should take place in-person, and will consist of the following things: First we will go through whatever new concept is being taught in order to teach about the concept, both going through why things work the way they work in the given topic, and it's relevance to the subject as a whole. Then once the concept is understood, we will go through some practice problems, as I believe practice makes perfect. Then we will go through each problem and go through how it was done to get the correct answer. We will repeat this process until it seems like the concept is fully understood until we move onto the next topic. I know that every student learns at a different pace, so we will never rush through anything, and they also all learn in different ways. So I will always be sure to be extremely patient with every student, and also make sure to adapt based on the child's learning preferences in order to ensure they learn in the best way possible for them.
