About Sara
I am a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews, in Scotland, although I went to school in Madrid, in a French Lycée. I also prepared for the US university exams (SAT and SAT further math) so I have experience with the Spanish, French, British and American ways of teaching math. This has improved my adaptability to the subject and I have learned the different perspectives one can have on it - making it sometimes easier to explain. I also have experience tutoring mathematics, coding (mostly in Python) and languages (French, English and Spanish), both online and in person. I am very patient, and as someone that has struggled with math I know it can be hard and I know it can take time, but hope that with a positive attitude, time and experience we can turn studying math into something to enjoy :)

As someone that has not always been passionate about math, I understand it is a learning journey and how much a tutor can influence such a journey. I started tutoring math when I was sixteen - whilst I was preparing for the further math SAT I went back to all the basics as I taught them. I realized with this how much I enjoyed sharing my knowledge and perspective with numbers, and watching someone’s progress. Since then, I have been tutoring, participating in different projects that contribute to education (creating guides, math questions, practice exams…) and learning more math!
