About Briona
Future students would benefit from being tutored by me because I combine strong communication skills with a genuine passion for teaching and mentorship. As a dental student at Howard University College of Dentistry, I have developed the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations while emphasizing clinical reasoning over memorization. Through my leadership roles in ASDA and SNDA, mentoring pre-dental students, and creating educational content for dental learners, I have gained valuable experience guiding others toward academic success. I am patient, approachable, and committed to adapting my teaching style to each student's learning needs. My goal is not only to help students perform well on examinations but also to build the confidence and critical-thinking skills necessary to become successful clinicians.

Students would benefit from being tutored by me because I prioritize understanding over memorization. I strive to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable explanations while encouraging critical thinking and clinical reasoning. Having recently navigated the same coursework and examinations, I understand the challenges students face and can relate to their learning experience. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. My goal is not only to help students succeed on exams but also to develop the clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills they will use throughout their careers.
