About Gary
I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Computer Science and Minor in Mathematics. I am an experienced Software Engineer who has worked at places including the University of Maryland as a Staff IT Engineer, the Social Security Administration (SSA) as an IT Specialist, and Computer Science Corporation as a Professional Software Engineer. For fun, I like to play guitar, read, learn new things, and exercise.

My lessons will include motivation to learn the subject by including how math can be used to solve every-day, real-world problems, such as personal finance, science, and technology.
A typical lesson plan has the following structure:
1. Warm-up & Review (10 minutes)
2. Introduction to New Material (15 minutes)
3. Guided Practice (15 minutes)
4. Independent Practice (15 minutes)
5. Recap & Closing (5 minutes)
