About Christopher
I’m an optometrist based in regional Australia who has always loved math and physics and how they explain the real world. I used them every day in my studies and work, from understanding light and lenses to solving practical problems, and I realized how powerful they are once they actually make sense.
I want to teach because I know how frustrating it is to feel “stuck” with a subject that seems abstract or too fast in school. I enjoy slowing things down, listening to where you’re getting lost, and rebuilding the idea with simple, personal analogies so it finally clicks. Helping a student move from confusion to “oh, I get it now” is genuinely rewarding for me.
Teaching also lets me share the mindset that helped me succeed: breaking problems into small steps, checking understanding as we go, and treating mistakes as useful feedback instead of something to be scared of. I want you to feel more confident, more independent, and maybe even start to enjoy math and physics instead of dreading them.

I’m a patient, friendly online tutor who helps students truly understand maths and physics, not just memorise formulas. I specialise in turning hard concepts into simple, everyday analogies so they finally “click” and stay in your memory. In our lessons, I focus on your personal learning style, break problems into clear, manageable steps, and move at a pace that suits you. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and think out loud so we can fix misunderstandings together. My goal is to build your confidence, exam skills, and genuine intuition, so you can solve problems on your own and actually enjoy learning maths and physics.
