About Yanique
I am a 28 year old Samoan/Maori born and raised in grey Lynn, Auckland.
I want to tutor because of the difficulties I faced at school.
I struggled at school due to the loss of my brother and stopped enjoying school. It wasn’t for the support network including some of my great teachers who had a great empathy for me to help me get through those tough times and get a great education with a hands on approach. I look to pass on my knowledge to help students stay engaged in their learning and make learning fun

My tutoring will be very interactive and a hands on approach to helping you learn what you need. Personally I learnt better visually rather than sitting in a classroom and being talked at. I will be Simplifying equations or questions for a better understanding to make learning easier for you. Relating these problems to things relatable to you to make it more intriguing, ie if you like sport try use some sort of enallage I look forward to helping you learn and enjoy getting an education.
