About Anna
I graduated in 2025 and received my Bachelor of Science from Williams Baptist University. During my time there I took many challenging courses such as Genetics, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry I and II, General Physics I and II, and so on. Through each of my courses I learned there truly was no limit to how much I could learn so long as I believed in myself and had confidence. Biology was not originally what I was naturally good at, but it challenged me and I had the passion and curiosity to pursue it as my field of study. Through working hard and applying myself to my classes, I was able to connect and make biology something that now comes to me naturally. I believe you can achieve anything you challenge yourself and put your mind to, and aspire to help others believe the same.

Each student’s specific needs come first in my teaching style. Every student has their own style of learning that suits them best, and it is my goal to discover that learning style to tutor them as efficiently and effectively as possible. I shape my lesson plans around the student’s needs so that we can focus on what they are struggling with the most and find the best way for them to comprehend difficult material. My goal is to build their confidence in their learning abilities and show them that they are more than capable of tackling what challenges them. I give students the tools they need to connect difficult topics and visualize what they are learning rather than memorizing. I can tutor multiple subjects within biology, and can tutor many other STEM subjects, humanities, and language arts. I tutor remotely and have a very flexible schedule which allows me to tutor odd hours and weekends. My lessons are for all ages and special needs.
