I make history fun with proven learning devices. My approach is one that uses media and creative approaches to further understand of the past.
I also encourage age appropriate exploration of similar topics to allow understanding of epochs and eras.
A typical lesson plan would include the required material as set out by the student’s educational institution but also draw in a students own interests.
For example: an athletic minded student studying Central American history might understand the concepts better with some knowledge of Mayan sports.
