About Fatoumata
Hello everyone, My name is Fatoumata, but everyone just calls me Fatou, pronounced (Fat-oo), I'm of Gambian descent with both of my parents being Gambian and myself being born there. I am currently studying International Relations with Economics with the hopes of going on to be a Diplomat or an Underwriter at an Insurance firm. I am here to support and guide my students through what may seem to be the most difficult thing that you will ever do but is just a stepping stone in the milestone of life – to show you that it's not so challenging as it’s perceived it to be. I am excited to go through this journey with you and hope we get along.

With parents, I’d ask them what grade do they expect from their child realistically. With this grade in mind I will test the child on the first lesson to see the level that they are currently standing at. With many of my students, I go through the specification for their specific exam board with them and depending on their year group I’d go down the topic list. Lessons are structured with; a learning objective, starter, an introduction to a new topic or continuation of an old one, example questions, interactive learning this could be a video/quiz and finally practice questions. Once every topic is completed the student should expect a test the following week.
