About Chufei
In my teaching, I will open the story of our relationship with Chinese at a superb price. I focus on building positive interactions with my students and encourage them to ask questions and express their opinions. I believe that every student has the potential to learn Chinese, and I will guide you to realise and make the most of this potential in order to build confidence in your ability to learn. I will also make adjustments according to the students' learning characteristics in order to provide the most effective teaching results. Customised teaching: Based on the student's level, interests and learning goals, I will create a personalised lesson plan to ensure that the content is tailored to the student's needs (e.g. if the student's goal is English for travelling, I will focus on how to use Chinese to solve communication problems when travelling).
Interactive teaching: I focus on interaction with my students, stimulating their interest and motivation through questions, discussions and practical activities.
Pragmatic: I emphasise pragmatics and focus on developing the language skills needed to communicate in the real world, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Generally, the length of my lessons depends on the needs and interests of the student, usually between half an hour and an hour and a half. (I am very liberal with the length of my lessons and each student's ability to absorb new knowledge will vary.)
My teaching experience includes, but is not limited to, kindergarten, adults, and mainly foreigners who are exchange students in China with some basic knowledge.
My audience is more likely to be language learners who have some basic knowledge of Chinese. (I am able to adapt to the student to ensure that the content is both subject-specific and personalised to the student's needs.
