About Ayesha

I am currently a student that has extensive knowledge and experience in teaching and I have been tutoring for the last 5 years and I currently am teaching on a regular basis. I have achieved high grades in each of my exams and can discuss this further during consultation. I have finished my A-Levels, but due to personal unforeseen circumstances, have yet to complete one A-Level (not law). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic I am flexible for online learning to help benefit my students. However, my schedule with students is rigorous and I expect them to put in the work outside of 1:1 sessions as well. Homework is compulsory and will be used to gauge the student's level of understanding on the course.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is quality over quantity. I want my students to be able to understand what they are learning rather than just learning for the sake of it. I use a method of assessments, fun activities and plentiful amounts of homework. I like my students to understand that I have a strict work ethic that will benefit self-discipline and develop independence. I have sat several GCSEs early and I understand the importance of a strict routine. My first lesson consists of several assessments to understand where the student is at in terms of their education. After that I will put together a plan of all the things the student needs to work on. Every now and again the student will have random assessments to see how well they absorb the material.

I took private 1:1 lessons with Ayesha for my 2 children. My daughter (aged 8) took english and creative writing lessons to improve her creative writing and comprehension skills. I am really impressed with Ayesha's dedication to students and her ability to understand what a child needs from their teacher in irder to develop their confidence with learning. My son, aged 10, took lessons with her in preparation for sitting his SATs. Ayesha easily targeted the areas he needed to develop and created a timetable that was cohesive with the sessions my son was taking with her and homework being set to ensure he was leaving enough time before his exams to practice papers. I cannot express how grateful I am that Ayesha has managed to not only improve both my children's grades at school, but for the fact that she has managed to improve both their confidence when it comes to learning which has materialised into their other subjects. For any parents out there worried about their child's progression and abilities in school, please get some 1:1 sessions with Ayesha because she will help a lot!
