About Huiyingkit
I graduated from Master of computational mathematics from University of Waterloo in May 2023, with a 98/100 average grade. I also obtained a Bachelors degree in pure mathematics from Chinese University of Hong Kong, with first class honours and a perfect major GPA of 4.0. When I was an undergrad, I also exchanged at UCLA for a year, taking serveral PhD level pure mathematics courses and obtained either A or A+ in all classes.
I have 4 years+ of teaching experience. I have taught high school and college students since undergrad. Moreover, I have held tutorials for gifted students on the topic of differential geometry, number theory and cryptography.
I will be a quant researcher in September. I want to be a tutor in the summer for some fun and earn a little bit of money and to kill some time.

The lesson is customized to suit every student's need.
We will first discuss the expected outcomes and learning objectives and the time remained to achieve such results. Next, we will conduct short tests to measure the student's ability and familiarity of the material. After that, we will create a learning plan, describing goals of each week.
Apart from solving problems, I will also focus on delivering the intuitions behind those mathematical formulations, both from a theoretical angle and industry perspective. My undergrad experience in pure mathematics allows me to provide motivation of concepts from a theoretical angle while my experience in computational mathematics allows me to motivate concepts by industrial examples.
I am able to teach junior school, high school and university students. I have a 98/100 average grade during my master degree in University of Waterloo.
