About Claire Diane
My eight years of teaching experience in Biology allowed me to have a wide understanding of how to capture students' needs. It taught me how every student has a different learning style that would help them easily understand a specific lesson.
I look forward to ending each tutorial session with my tutee feeling satisfied and that he/she learned something that he/she can bring to the actual school setting.

As a tutor in Biology, I would first assess the student's current understanding of the topic he/she needs help with. Then together, we would set clear learning objectives to target within the tutorial period. For example, if the student is struggling with cellular respiration, your objective could be to explain the process and its significance in cellular energy production. I will incorporate a variety of teaching methods such as video call lectures, visual aids, and multimedia resources. After the discussion or demonstration, I will provide the tutee with practice activities, constructed response questions, and case studies to evaluate if the tutee learned something from the tutorial session.
I would cater to any grade level, but I would like to give more focus on Biology for ninth and tenth grade.
