About Adam
I currently work as a full-time secondary Science teacher in Eastbourne, and I am very passionate about my job. I love to show off how amazing Science by linking it to what we see in everyday life.
My specialist subjects are Physics and Maths, which I studied at university back in Ireland. To make some money, I started tutoring secondary school students on the weekends and realised that I loved it.
I had always been very interested in education, so I decided to take the leap to teaching by doing a PGCE at the University of Brighton. Now I am a fully-qualified secondary teacher, but my dream is to eventually do a PhD in maths and to teach at college or university.

I have tutored many successful students over the past 5 years, both online and in person from the ages of 11 to 25. The sessions typically last an hour, but I have run 30 minute sessions or 2 hour sessions depending on your needs.
Educational research shows that we learn best by doing, so I always get my students involved as much as possible. The sessions start with a few questions that I'll use to gauge what your level is and where you are. Then we'll set individual goals and work towards mastering each of them until you are successful.
