Cancelling a lesson needs to be done 24-hours in advance of the specified time to avoid being charged and losing that 1-hour of studying time.
This is a courtesy to me for setting aside time in my day to teach. I plan my personal activities around my lesson times.
If it is an emergency, all emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis.
