About Megan
I have been a private tutor for the past four years, teaching KS3, GCSE & A Level English Literature & Language. During my time as a tutor, I have consistently helped my students achieve a minimum of a full grade higher than their expected.
My proudest moment as a tutor was getting a home-schooled student into college under early admission at 14 years old.

Recently completed my Masters in English Literature and moved to the Darlington area. I’m offering online and in-person, in-depth classes in English Literature, English Language, and Religious Studies for GCSE & A-Level.
Every lesson is designed to the student’s individual needs. Practice questions and mock exams can be given upon request, followed by detailed feedback at no extra cost.
Upon reaching the exam period, a comprehensive revision guide will be given to each student. This includes:
- Material covered in classes
- Previous feedback given on practice questions
- Extra exam questions and marking schemes for practice purposes

Details
The first lesson is a ‘get to know’ session where everyone can outline their expectations and what they hope to gain from the tutoring classes. Current areas of difficulty will also be discussed and implemented into future lessons. The £20 an hour rate includes unlimited feedback (outside of lesson time) on practice papers and questions, and also the detailed revision pack provided at the end.
