About Emily
I graduated from university in 2020 with a 2:1 BSc in Pharmacology. Since then I have been online tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Physics (GCSE) and I am currently working in project management in a research institute, based in a London hospital. At A-Level I studied both Biology and Chemistry so I’d love to pass on some of the tips I discovered whilst studying at school, which aided me at university level in my degree. With 3 years of tutoring experience, I have volunteered and worked with schools for various reasons, with a range of different age groups. I like to use many different teaching styles through verbal, visual and physical learning. I base my tutoring on a student-led session, with much of it being interactive. I will often start or end each session with quiz-style questions, to assess the knowledge acquired from the session and allow us to locate a place to start in the following lessons. I try to make learning Chemistry as fun as possible!

Perfect! Emily is excellent and works superbly with my 16 year old, getting her ready for her GCSE chemistry. My daughter really enjoys her sessions with Emily and finds them very helpful.
Perfect! Only the first lesson but my daughter already starting to feel more positive. Emily is very patient in explaining and seems good at spotting when she doesn't understand something
