About James
I am a proponent of curiosity, and I'm certain that physics and maths offer something for everyone to be curious about. From finding out what would happen if you fell into a black hole to why you couldn't make a perfect cup of tea on Mount Everest. There is alot to find exciting in physics, and with that excitement comes better grades.

Do you every feel like your teachers rush over important details leaving you confused, or brush aside important questions you ask them?
In my lessons, students can take the time to discuss any confusions they may have and investigate those interesting questions that are ignored in conventional classrooms, leading to a more complete understanding of the subject. This makes for higher grades and a more enjoyable study experience.
I have spent years learning from my students the best way to increase their understanding, for instance, regular brief quizzes about subjects we studied several weeks ago strengthen the memory.

Perfect! James is a passionate, talented and very committed tutor. He has an incredible way of explaining concepts and new ideas in a very accurate but easy to understand way. He always makes sure that the student fully understands everything he has explained so far before moving onto the next section of the lesson, if the student does not understand something he always makes sure to repeat himself and try and explain it in a way that the student can get a better grasp and understanding of it. He is also very enthusiastic while teaching which makes it very easy to understand and to learn more about the subject.

James has a genuine passion for teaching that makes his tutoring style really exciting and engaging. He’s creative — and he’ll use creative means of conveying a new or challenging idea, which I find really useful when I’m working with difficult or abstract concepts.
