About Isabelle
I am an online English teacher currently pursuing an M.S. in Biomimicry. Since 2014, I have worked as a private tutor, camp counselor, and teacher for students ranging from Pre-K to college. I have had over 400 students, both in one-on-one classes and in classes of up to 8 participants.

I am available to tutor students of any age and in any core subject, as well as in standardized test preparation. I approach each lesson by working with my students to discover their personal learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. From there, I adapt the lesson structure to fit their needs. Primarily, I focus on helping students dissect the available information, apply their knowledge, and then deduce the unknown. Rather than making students memorize every single fact, vocabulary word, or tidbit of information, I believe in giving students the proper tools to maximize their problem solving abilities.
