About Hayee
Greetings! I'm Hayee, a current graduate student at St George Girls High School. I aspire to teach Mathematics, a subject that i have grown to love throughout my school years, to assist those who are struggling or may be facing challenges in mathematics. Throughout primary school, my love for maths has grown shown in my countless awards in mathematics, the class academic award and sitting in the Top 10 % in the Australasian Mathematics Olympiad (APSMO) in Year 5 and Top 3% in Year 6. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I've gained valuable experience instructing children in piano and math, an activity I thoroughly enjoy.
I possess strong organisational skills and can effectively plan our lessons. I adhere to the curriculum and can adjust the pace of my teaching to meet the needs of students, whether that means slowing down or accelerating the learning process. My teaching style is characterised by patience, and I enjoy establishing connections with students to foster a positive and enjoyable learning experience. I am available to support my students beyond our scheduled lessons, offering reassurance that I will be there for them throughout their entire learning journey. I am confident that I would be an ideal candidate as your tutor, and I would teach to the best of my abilities.

I am a very flexible and adaptable tutor who can match my time with my students. I am patient and I would work well with students both struggling or would like a bit of extra help towards Mathematics.
I teach through notes and different apps and websites. I use practically anything if it allows my students to learn in a more fun and exciting environment. I teach following the curriculum and i can also teach at a slower pace to match the students level of understanding. Students can also bring materials that they want me to teach.
The length of the lesson varies from person to person ranging from 1-2 hours. I have had experience teaching younger students who prefer to have shorter classes and longer classes which I can adapt to.
I prefer to teach students who are studying for OC and Selective Schools but I also would love to teach children who are struggling with basic mathematics and need an extra push! I am always opened to working with students who might need a fun and motivating environment and hopefully providing them for a reason to love maths again.
