About Ana
Hi, I'm Ana, and I'm from a small town in Huelva. I've been living in England for three years, and I'm a Spanish teacher. I work at a school where I teach classes to teenagers (KS3 and KS4) and also at the Instituto Cervantes in Leeds, where I teach adults of all levels (A1-C2). I really enjoy teaching my language and culture. I also love nature, hiking, and art.
In my lesson I like to include games, real situations and materials from real world. However it will depend on your preferences.

I want to create a space where practising another language is fun, dynamic, and not just another workload. Right now, I'm offering private support classes for GCSE, where we can practise the exam format. On the other hand, I also offer conversation sessions in a more relaxed environment for those who just want to practise speaking with a native. I hope I can help you! :)
I have three years of official teaching experience, but since I was a student, I've participated in many language exchanges and have also worked as a Spanish teacher for refugees in Seville.
My classes depend on the student's goals. On one hand, we can have a structured order based on the four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. On the other hand, we can set topics and adapt them to a level (A1-C2) if the student needs to learn something specific for work, travel, family, etc. The lessons can be up to two hours and a minimum of one hour. It could be online or in person in Huddersfield (or nearby)
Learning Spanish isn't easy; it takes courage and consistency. My intention is to create a path that is accessible and enjoyable for you. My class will be a safe space where mistakes are a way to progress, and you'll be able to see results every day.
