About Nicholas
I am a current medical student with extensive tutoring experience in all subjects with students of all ages. I attended Stanford's Interuniversity Center for Japanese Language Studies as a Blakemore-Freeman Fellow, and I speak Japanese fluently at an N1 level. I have a strong background in Japanese cultural knowledge, and I focus my lessons around learning about Japanese language and culture simultaneously.

My lesson plans are tailored individually to the student, whether you're a beginner working on forming sentences or an advanced student working towards the JLPT.
I encourage my students to practice outside of class by assigning both worksheets and audio recordings.
During class, we can focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversation. As a tutor, I aim to partner with my student in achieving their language learning goal.
