About Indie
About me: My name is India, I did my BA in Religious Studies at McGill and recently completed my MA at University College London in the field of medical anthropology. Throughout my academic career I have been a writer and editor on the side. I have worked with playwrights, non-fiction writers and academic writers. I have had creative writing published and I am due to be published as co-author on a forthcoming paper in the field of bioethics.

What do I offer?:
I am able to offer two levels of service from simple proofreading and editing to more in-depth workshops on how to develop your style as an academic or creative writer. Having experience as both a creative and an academic writer allows me to offer you advice on formatting citations whilst also helping you develop a unique and stylish voice that will set your writing apart.
1. Proofreading:You can send me paper and I can proof read it and format it according to the desired academic style. Having worked as a research assistant I am trained in prepapring papers for submission.
2. Workshopping: But if you are looking to develop the craft of essay writing we could workshop the paper. This might include exploring how to develop a voice as an academic writer, collaborating on study skills to ensure that you are able to approach writing in a calm and organized manner, and discussing research methods such as how to find suitable sources and read them productively.
