About Celie
I am so excited to meet you and provide support to you on your academic journey! I have an extensive background in teaching and tutoring, with over 5 years of experience supervising the writing needs of individual students. My students have gone on to well-established four-year universities including: UC Santa Barbara, UC Los Angeles, San Diego State University, Azusa Pacific University, the University of Maine, and so many more. I have a dual Bachelor's degree in English and Art History and am currently working on my Master's degree at Johns Hopkins University. I bring to the table an excellent reputation as an academic researcher and writer and hope to share my expertise with you. I am incredibly proud of my students and am looking forward to taking pride in your work too!

I use the scaffolding approach to helping you with your writing needs. First, I will demonstrate how you might approach or tackle your writing assignment. Then we will do it together. Finally, I will supervise while you do it on your own! My goal is to make you not need me for support in the future. Not only do I want to ensure your essay or writing assignment is excellent, but that you are a confident and strong writer after working with me.
