About Addison

I have taken the ACT a total of 6 times with my highest score being a 35 (one subpoint away from a 36); I have also assembled a list of tips, tricks, strategies, and more that, in addition to help with actual content on the exam, I have given to students who are preparing to take the exam. Overall, I have only helped my friends when they have asked me, but I have helped them to be much more efficient with their time use and to obtain a higher score!

About the lesson

I present this to anyone who is looking to take the ACT. We start by going through an exhaustive list of strategies, tips, tricks, anything to help them get an upper hand in taking the exam, and we go in order from the overall exam to individual sections. *This excludes the writing section, which I discourage students from taking unless they have to! Then, we walk through some practice problems for each section as the student needs it, and I answer any questions they might have.

Addison has been tutoring for the past year and a half while attending the University of Kentucky with a double major in biology and Spanish and a minor in creative writing. He is currently a junior. He took several AP exams and classes while attending high school. He achieved a score of 35 of the ACT and was named a National Merit Finalist in 2018. He is very passionate about learning and is able to translate that into teaching others in a variety of subjects. I highly recommend Addison as a tutor.
