About Anna
Hi there! I'm a student at the University of Bath, currently studying Robotics Engineering. I grew up in Italy but attended international schools, so I speak English fluently and I'm familiar with both the Italian and British approaches to math, which is perfect for sharing useful tips from both systems! I've always been passionate about math and physics, and I know firsthand how challenging they can be, especially IB Math HL. Having gone through it myself, I understand the pressure, but I've discovered all those little strategies that help break down complex questions and maximize your points. That said, I also enjoy supporting students outside of the IB world, whether they're in high school or just need a clearer way to understand math. My goal is to make studying feel less like a chore and more like a shared challenge: fun and supportive. I always try to explain things in a friendly way, without making the lessons heavy. I have experience as a math tutor, mainly in-person in my city, where I helped students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding difficult concepts. Over time, I've developed a method based on clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and building student confidence through practice and encouragement. I've also worked with tutoring companies during the summer, supporting students who needed to catch up on math and physics before the new school year started. Now that I've moved to university, I'm excited to continue tutoring online through this platform, to stay connected with my old students and meet new ones from all over the world. Hi! I’m Anna, a Robotics Engineering student at the University of Bath.
