About Tom
I am a passionate French speaker and lover of French culture, music and football.
I graduated with First Class Honours from the Queen's University of Belfast in Economics and French, with a distinction in oral French.
I lived and worked in Paris for a year: 6 months working in telesales/ recruitment and 6 months at HEC Paris doing translation of press articles from French to English.
Since graduating, I have been working in software sales and fintech, as part of teams servicing the French and Belgian markets.

My approach to teaching a language will endeavour to mimic how I learnt to speak French myself.
- Learning basic foundations of grammar
- Listening to native French speakers
- Translating
- Most importantly, speaking in French!
Lessons would be appropriate for beginners, high school students, University students or anyone hoping to parler un petit peu de francais to order a beer in Paris.
