Teaching isn't a matter of what you know; some teachers know a lot about their field, but don't have the ability to convey the difficult concepts to students who earnetly want to learn. The best teachers in the world are those who can explain concepts to anyone and everyone, regardless of their learning style. Not all teachers possess this skill, but it is something I have spent years developin, and I am proud of the results my students have achieved after lessons with me.
A typical lesson begins with introductions, establishing a roadmap for the lesson by communicating with the student on their goals, and then working together to constructively move the student towards what they want to achieve. I am great with students who either are brand new to a subject, or have a beginner's understanding but need more information to truly "get it".
