About Marissa
I am a mechanical engineer studying myself as I prepare for graduate school focused in biomechanical engineering. I've always enjoyed helping others learn, especially in math. Throughout my own schooling, I was often asked to help individuals and groups with various subjects.
I've become quite good at demystifying concepts that someone may be struggling with. You could say I've been lucky, but I've never come close to a pupil not understanding the subject and meeting their goals.
I'd like to continue to set people up for success by finding the methods that work for them.

Tailored lessons to fit you. People can learn things in different ways and I enjoy finding the way that makes concepts click for the individual. We'll work together to figure out how to succeed, not just in the subject we're working on together, but hopefully find effective methods for learning and studying that can be applied throughout your academic career.
Options include working through homework assigned, reviewing tests and quizzes, auxiliary instructional sessions to cover concepts, question and answer sessions, tutoring session problems we work on together, and checkpoint reviews.
Lessons available for any level through undergraduate degrees in subjects in math, physics, chemistry, and biology.
